Screenfy is a product operated by Cortela (legal entity: 17146493) — referred to in these Terms as “Cortela”, “we”, “us”, or “the Company”.
Welcome to Screenfy, an AI-powered communication and interview preparation platform provided by Cortela. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Screenfy website, services, and features (the “Service”). By accessing or using Screenfy, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service.
Screenfy is intended for students, professionals, and individuals seeking to improve their communication and interview skills through AI-generated questions, timed practice, and automated feedback.
You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws. You agree not to:

Important: Screenfy is provided for educational and self-improvement purposes only. The Service offers automated feedback and practice tools designed to help you prepare for interviews, but it is not a substitute for professional career coaching, legal, medical, or other professional advice.
Using Screenfy does not guarantee any specific outcome, including job interviews, job offers, or improved employment prospects. You acknowledge and agree that Cortela makes no promises or guarantees about your ability to obtain employment or the results of using the Service.
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account and verify your email. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have parental or guardian consent to use this Service.

Screenfy currently offers a single subscription plan that provides unlimited interview sessions under a fair-use policy. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Cortela to charge your selected payment method via Stripe for recurring plan fees and applicable taxes.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly, quarterly, or annually, depending on the option you selected). You may cancel at any time via your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Important: Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. To avoid future charges, you must cancel your subscription before deleting your account.
Except as provided below, all sales are final. Cortela may, at its sole discretion, issue refunds or credits in limited situations (e.g., verified system errors). To request a refund or credit, you must contact support.screenfy@screenfy.ai within 14 days of the charge and include relevant evidence of the issue.
“Verified system error” means a problem confirmed by Cortela—such as server malfunction or billing error—that reasonably caused loss of service. Routine user-side issues (e.g., internet instability, device problems, or accidental refresh) do not qualify.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds that appear fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with normal usage. Initiating a chargeback without contacting support may result in account suspension.
Screenfy’s subscription plan provides unlimited interview sessions, subject to a fair-use (“soft cap”) policy. This policy ensures system stability, prevents abuse, and maintains service quality for all users.
The vast majority of users will never reach the soft cap. However, if your usage approaches or exceeds typical fair-use thresholds, Screenfy may:
Excessive usage that appears automated, fraudulent, or abusive may result in account review, throttling, suspension, or termination.
If you require higher volume for legitimate reasons, you may purchase additional one-time session bundles, which remain valid for 12 months from purchase.
While sessions are no longer deducted via tokens, each session still counts toward fair-use thresholds. Screenfy is not responsible for lost sessions caused by user-side issues such as:
If you believe a session failed due to a verifiable Screenfy system error, contact support within 7 days with logs or screenshots. Validated issues may receive session credit at Cortela’s discretion.
Screenfy may end sessions that violate platform policies (including abusive, hateful, or highly inappropriate content). Such sessions will still count toward fair-use limits.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of the billing cycle. To avoid renewal charges, cancel before the next renewal date via account settings. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support.screenfy@screenfy.ai promptly.
Unauthorized chargebacks may lead to account suspension and forfeiture of tokens. If you believe an error occurred, contact support before filing a dispute.
By using Screenfy, you agree to behave ethically and not misuse the platform. Prohibited conduct includes:
Violation may result in suspension, termination, or legal action. If you are suspended you may appeal by contacting support.screenfy@screenfy.ai; appeals are reviewed at Cortela’s discretion.
Screenfy uses automated AI technologies (including language models and speech tools) to generate questions, transcribe responses, and provide feedback. These models may be imperfect and can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or biased output.
All content, branding, code, text, graphics, user interfaces, and features within Screenfy are the intellectual property of Cortela and are protected by applicable laws.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or publicly display any part of the Service without Cortela’s express written consent.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cortela disclaims all warranties. You use the Service at your own risk.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Cortela’s total liability for claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim. In no event will Cortela be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Province of Quebec for disputes arising from these Terms.
Cortela is based in Canada and primarily serves users in the U.S. and Canada. If you access the Service from other regions, your data may be transferred to and processed in Canada and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or elsewhere and wish to exercise your data rights (access, correction, deletion, portability), contact support.screenfy@screenfy.ai. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
Cortela may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for operational reasons. On termination, your access ends; your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Termination does not relieve you of outstanding payment obligations.
We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via the app prior to the change taking effect. Your continued use after notice indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
Entire Agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Cortela regarding the Service.
